Honors Housing

residence hall entrance

UT Dallas is among a handful of universities in the country that provide freshmen with individual rooms in their residence halls. Honors Housing is located in Sirius Hall (formerly Residence Hall South), which is conveniently located next to academic buildings.

We know that when you visit campus, you will be impressed with the privacy, social opportunities and amenities that our residence halls offer our students.

Living Learning Communities

Living Learning Communities bring together students of particular majors and career interests. These students live together in the same hall and take some of their first-year classes together.

LLC programming is extensive, both professionally and socially, and targeted generally to the academic and professional interests of the students. Space is limited.

Please note, you must follow all housing application deadlines and procedures as detailed on the First-Year Housing website. No matter where you choose to live — an LLC, Honors Housing or elsewhere — you are welcome to attend all Honors events that occur in Sirius Hall.

Student Experience

“I’ve loved living in the residence hall. The suite is nice and spacious, and having a room to yourself is wonderful. It’s easy to get along with roommates when everyone has their own space. The study lounges and lobby make for excellent places to spend time with old and new friends alike.”
